1967 144S BW35 swap to M41 140-160

I have an ultra clean early serie 1967 144S. Bought the car 5 years ago from the original owner. The odometer showed then 81840 miles. It now reads 109800. Car is great, the only problem is with noise at freeway speed. Engine is revving too fast. The dreaded BW35 is still shifting right and loses no oil. Well maybe a little bit by the rear felt seal but that will go neoprene with the swap.

The big question is : Where do I get a proper M41, and how do I know then if the overdrive is fried or not ? The thing is that I need everything, from the clutch pedal to the bell housing.

If anyone knows where one is or any one has one that he is willing to part with, you can p-mail me at ignace@sympatico.ca

Thanks,

Iggy
