electric fan conversion on 740 turbo survey

Just wanted to see what others have done to convert the mechanical fan to electric,what types of set-ups ect.I am currently using a Spal fan,it bolts right up to the 4 holes in the blackstone radiator,I heard of some people using old Buick fans or some other retro fits to make this happen.What cfm and amp draw would be intersting.
