Warning light fixed! 200 1984

washed my engine many times, never had problem with alternator. Can just imagine what happens in the used car lots when they spray down the engines before putting them on the lot.

You said you "concluded" it was the vreg, and then replaced it. You did not mention using a vmeter until after replacing the vreg and brushes.

Is it possible your alternator was TU before you changed the brushes and regulator? We all kick the bucket at one time or another :)
