In -tank fuel suction thing! 1800 1972

Just got a nice '72 1800ES, with 63k from original owner (in So Cal entire life)Gas tank was dented just aft of in tank fuel suction (thing). sure its got a name, but I can't get my tongue around it! Seems to have fallen into tank. Anyone have any ideas regarding replacement, where to get the part, or will it require replacing tank? Dent is not severe, and tank appears usable. Thanks for your help. Jim in San Diego
