Horsepower improvements on a 86 Volvo 240DL 200 1986

Hi again,
Just wondering if there is anything that exists to spruce up the performance in the Volvo 240? The car is an automatic and is a dog, but I was hoping to get a bit more power out of it. Anyone know what the specs for an 86 240DL (canada) model is? 0-100km? hp rating? Any info appreciated!
Oh yeah, are these cars chipable?
