Headliner question 700 1986

No, not at all a dumb question - in fact had I wrapped the fabric around the end of the headliner I would not bother with the plastic trim piece, but it is kind of ragged now, not obvious, but I have to fix it. I think I will buy a set of new clips from Volvo and use them as the old ones may be stressed (two of them broke already).

Any suggestions as to how I could get my dome light to stay up? I just can't seem to make it work. It actually clips in place but doesn't stay there because of the downward pressure.

Thanks for the help.
