Check engine light NOT Service light, sorry 200

Hello, I have a 1993 Volvo 240 Wagon, with 101,000 miles, all service done; however, this is the problem,
the check engine light came on, brought to the mech. Code, 123, then 111, Ok, the temperature sensor was replaced, the header pipe had a leak, again the the same codes, replaced header pipe(really loud), and rewired the necessary wire from the temp. sensor to the ?. (Note: prior to this, the air box temp was bad and replace with mods., and air mass. this clear the problem, tks for the info George) the temp sensor was checked and reset, the other day, my wife, started the car went to the dentist, approx. 3 miles, once finished, started the car and service light and same codes appeared. my mech. is puzzled. any help would be appreciated. thanks, steve
