89 760 Ignition control Unit (Solved) 700

heat dissapation compound or heat transfer compound can be bought from most computing retailers its the same stuff that you would put on your cp processor when fitting the heat sink on top of it also put some on both sides of the heat sink and make shure that it is secure to the fender,i dont know what ignition you have there is ez118k fitted to b230k/b200and 230e pin 2 is ground and terminates on the inlet manifold ez117k fitted to b230ft is the same ez116k fitted to b234f/b230f and b204e is pin 2 again but has a connector on the left A post before terminating at the inlet manifold if you suspect the grounding a good tip is to remove the small 10mm bolt at the manifold use a piece of sand paper or similar to clean up the crimps on both sides then re-attach the crimps but use a longer bolt that way you can put a 10mm nut on the other side as added security then cover the ground connector with a good quality electric transfer grease, good luck
