Is this the compatible CBV replacement from VW/Bosch? 700

brickers:

looking to replace the CBV on my 1985 745t and was told by someone on this board (can't remember who and I'm too tired to search) that the bypass valve on the 2002 Jetta 1.8 turbo is basically an upgraded version of the same part.

However, the names in the parts list I use are different for the volvo and vw parts, and I want to make sure I pick up is the one I need (it would really suck to have it arrive and be completely wrong). The listing describes the VW part as follows:

Note: Pressure Regulating
Overrun shut off valve, mounted on Turbocharger intake hose.

BUY Overrun Cut-off Valve

Is this valve the right valve to replace the CBV in my garrett equipped 745t? It's the version with red/grey delay valve and the CBV mounted off the turbo near the radiator/fan assembly.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
rt
