1993 940 aw71 transmission question 900

I have a 1993 940 non turbo with the aw71 transmission. I have two questions

1. I let the local volvo dealer replace the transmission fluid. I know, I should have done it myself. Well, they overfilled it by approx 1 quart and I realized it about 3 weeks later after about 1500 miles. I drained the transmission to the correct level myself since I didn't want to drive the car any additional miles. Would overfilling the trans cause any permanent damage?

2. What is the typcally life expectancy for this trans? I have approx 150,000 miles and it shifts the same as when I purchased the car 9 years ago.

Any comments or responses would be appreciated
