BAD BATTERY UPDATE 200

OK-I think I've fixed it. Threw a new voltage regulator in the alternator, and put anew belt on, just in case. The brushes on the voltage regulator were about 2/16" high-well below the minimum, and short enough to cause issues. I had to get a jump to restart the car after all of this, but it works. Went out an hour later(after the shower and lunch) and it started right up. So...I think it's fixed. All wires that should be connected, are, and there's a brand new v.r. in there. Anyone anticipate me having anymore problems? Is there anything else I should do? I think I'm gonna put a battery gauge in this weekend-driving around and worrying about it sucks. Thanks again to everyone who posted before.
