Bulb failure indicator light 700 1987

unplug your wiring harness in the rear and clean the contacts off gently with a wire brush. put vaseline (or some diaelectric grease) on the contacts and the plug and pull it out a few times to make sure it's seated properly.

the stuff you put in to grease/lubricate it should NOT be conductive.

mine does this periodically, and i just unplug and plug it back in a few times at the rear and the problem goes away for months at a time.
