240's in the rust belt. 200

OK, as I mentioned before, I just bought my first Volvo... an 85 240 wagon with the canadien Zenith carb. I live out in the dry western desert, but plan to move to the Indiana, Ohio, PA area next year. Originally, the car was supposed to last me 12 months, then help pay for uhaul gas when I sold it. Now, I seem to have grown quite attached to the car (its been 3 weeks??) and can't imagine selling the beast.
How do these bricks do back east? Mine was titled in Michigan, and there is some rust behind the cowl, and at the antenna masts top mount, but nowhere else (that I've found). The rust seems easy enough to repair, BUT would the car go to pieces if I took it there, or should I sell it out here so it can have a long, natural life in the dry air?

How are all your Ohio/IN/PA cars doing?

ALSO, how hard would it be for me to switch from carbeuretor to FI?

Thanks for the sharing.... it is great to see such a diverse, yet unified group of people being genuinely helpful and caring.

Robert in Reno, Nevada
