Any later model (700/900) seats adaptable to '88 765 w/ power buckets? 700

I just bought a 1988 765 w/ Ford V-8 power via the brickboard and need help getting the interior up to family standards. My wife probably won't like the decent looking buckets that are in the car currently, and thus before she gets a drive in the car I am thinking of switching them out for a pair at the local pull-it yard from a later model.

The only hitch would be whether the wiring of the 760 could be used to power the newer style seat, which has the smaller, more graceful buttons versus the oversized original power switches. Even if the newer seat's memory feature couldn't be worked out, seems to me that the fwd/back, rake and height motor wiring could be adapted.

Anyone have experience doing this? The pull-it yard wants $350 for the two seats which are in good condition and the right color (maroon). All replies will be appreciated, as I may have to let the car go if I can't fix her up a bit.
