Fuel Pump Relay Problems 200

I had similar problem. I thought the fuel pump was working also. I pulled it off and hot wired it (bench tested it). It turned fine spit out the fuel in the pump and everything. The relay would trip had power to the leads to the fuel pump, car wouldn't catch AND I had no fuel pressure.

So I broke down and got a new fuel pump ($270 from NAPA). Yes, it was a lot and yes I could have gotten it cheaper SOMEWHERE. But I wanted it now, you know. Started right up with the first try. No problems since. Didn't change relay, so there ;)>

good luck man

cheers
