Full beam mystery - beats me :o( 900 1991

Cheers all.
I did some more fiddling around yesterday, and found that by pulling the switch onto `flash` v-e-r-y slowly I can make the relay chatter and the full beam come on. This enabled me to locate the relay, which is mounted up inside the kick panel on the drivers side (UK - so the same side as you said Jerry but it`s all laid out up the inside of the wing and footwell rather than under the steering wheel etc.)
So, it *looks* as if it will be a matter of taking the relay out and cleaning/adjusting and seeing what happens then (I checked/cleaned earths as advised - thanks for that tip). Only probelm is it looks a complete PITA to get at as it`s buried under all sorts of stuff...
