A/C Compressor Failing 200 1990

Hi all,

I have a 1990 240DL. The A/C compressor and clutch appear to failing.When I operate the A/C the comp. begins a slight knocking along with low screeching sound. When operated with the A/C turned off I still get the low screeching sound, when I spray WD40 behind the clutch the screeching sound goes away for a day or two but comes back. The knocking sound from the compressor is always there when it is turned on.

My question is how can I bypass the compressor and clutch wthout disabling the power steering? IPD sells a kit for this but is not for my year ,also the pulley in the picture appears to connect with 4 bolts mine is held on with a allen screw/bolt. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. Chip
