I put the distributor back together so thats what seems to be the problem .I had a new garret put in last week and I saw the old one that was taken out and it did have some bearing play and wear on the finns.It was replaced because the turbo was rubbing against the housing creating a loud whining noise unlike a normal turbo sound. It still sounds loud though. It was never that loud It was always a higher pich when it was running properly. Could it be a wastegate problem? I am clueless at this point. I would appreciate any help or idea on what to look for.
