Please HELP!!!!!!!

I have recently rebuilt a 1975 b20 for my 1974 142. My distributor from my 74 will not fit the 75. Has anyone out there run into this problem before? Unfortunately, all of the parts application books I have referenced show the distributor as being used only in 75. Is this correct? Is there another distributor that will fit this motor?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
