code 232- now what? 200 1989

I had a 232 code for over a year on a 91 240..cleaned throttle body, new gasket, replaced vac hoses, flame trap, reset throttle switch, cleaned fuses/holders.. etc...still had 232.

replaced the O2 sensor last week..no more 232 :)

hope this helps

btw, thanks to this board, i bought the inexpensive generic O2 sensor from autozone for $30, it comes with a connector from an 85 or 86 ford taurus (or equivalent). I got a ford female connector from the junk yard, soldered it onto the end of the original 3 wires and plugged the new sensor in..works fine.
