Stereo and Amp wiring diagrams 700 1986

I have an '86 Volvo 740GLE and am having terrible difficulty trying to find a wiring diagram for the factory stereo and factory amplifier that is in my car. I am trying to replace the factory stereo (Model No. TD-314x) with a Pioneer CD player AM/FM Tuner (Model No. DEH-10). The wiring that goes to the stereo is a grouping of wires that aren't label, 3 of which have tube diodes. Between myself and 2 other people, we could not come to a definate conclusion as to what each wire was allocated for. We tried to figure it all out by looking at the factory amplifier (Model No. HA-4111 4x20watt), found under the steering wheel column, and that didn't help much. We need help. What is suggested? We are at a loss as to where to go from here. One other problem that arose from trying to install this new stereo was that the 1amp tube diode blew and even though we have replaced it 3 times (polarity being correct in each instance) the diode keeps blowing. I would greatly appreciate any help or suggestions to these issues. Sincerely, Ms. Patton
