Funny noise from new windshield 200

I just had a new windshield put in my '88 240. They put in one of those windshields which come with the rubber surround already on and no chrome strip. (Makes a nice clean look and no chrome strip to come loose.) Well my wife.gov reported a new noise in the car. I took it out on the freeway and, at about 65 to 70 mph, there was a high pitched note. If you've ever put paper on a comb and blowed on it, you'll know what I mean. I put a strip on electrical tape on the top of the rubber surround to hold it down and no more sound. The rubber was vibrating as the air moved over it at speed. Sort of makes the car into a big musical instrument. The windshield shop will be sticking that rubber down on Monday.
