85 Turbo won't start 200 1985

Hi, well as of this morning my car won't start. I'm not positive, but I'm pretty sure it's fuel related. I do not hear the fuel pump pumping when I turn the key (like I used to). Recently the fuel pumps were on all the time whenever the key was on, then that went away, but the car kept running. May be the fuel pump relay? I can't find my Haynes manual (of course) so can anyone tell me where this relay is located, and if my diagnosis sounds reasonable. After much cranking there is no smell of fuel at the engine, or the tail pipe. Hope this is fairly clear. Thanks
