Error code clearing... 900

After switching out the Engine Coolant Temperature (ECT) sensor last weekend... and still getting the error code, I figured it had to be a wiring fault.

However today, as almost an afterthought, I tried disconnecting the battery to clear the codes, as I'd read about here. It worked! Even after driving 20 minutes and rechecking, the code indicates 'no error'... which is fine by me! (after all that knuckle scraping)

Dang them computers! I think any computer system ought to only add finesse to the existing physical controls... and not interfere with them.
