Advice on Bendix Barke Calipers, no ABS 700

Both of the Bendix calipers on the front of my car are pretty well f'ed up, and after going through several sets of pads and rotors, I think it's finally time to try to do something about them. What do you guys think about the merits of trying to ferret out individual defective pieces, like replacing a particular piston or bushing or dust boot that may be bad, as opposed to just replacing the caliper as a unit. I guess I'm inclined to want to just get a new caliper and be done with it, but I might could save some money by buying individual components and it might be just as good.
Also, if I do replace the whole calipers, I've seen that napaonline.com and autopartsworld.com offer remanufactured calipers for my car for a pretty reasonable price once you take out the core charge. Does anybody know about the quality of either of these suppliers? Do you have suggestions about better alternatives, either online or in the real world? I appreciate it.
