Dump the Bendix- go Girling! 700

Converting to Girling sounds intriguing, but also a bit daunting indeed. I'm not made of money (if I was I wouldn't be driving a 14-year-old car) so that's my major concern. I've mentally set aside a couple hundred bucks that I think I can spare right now to address the brake situation, but much more than that is not going to be possible for a while. I was figuring $60 each for two new calipers, $60 for one good new rotor (the other one doesn't really need replacing), and $40 for a new set of pads. That's $220, and adding in taxes, shipping charges, new fluid, etc., etc, etc., I hoped I could do this for about $250, which is about how much I have. So, unless somebody would like to spot me a couple of Ben Franklins as an early Christmas present, I kind of need to stay in that price range. Any suggestions that can be kept in that range are greatly appreciated.
