How difficult is it to replace light bulbs on ACC panel? 700 1987

I just had my ACC system repaired but have no lights on the control panel. Recently noticed a light glowing behind the center column between the ACC control panel and the radio. The light is coming out of the cracks in the center column and works with the headlights. I believe it is a light that probably went to the ACC control area but has dropped out of its holder. Question is, how difficult is opening this area up to investigate the bulb and possibly reposition it to get light to the ACC panel?
