though I think McDuck was trying to say the same thing. Just did this myself about 8 months ago. Here's the deal:

1. Remove the remains of the old hinge by pushing the plastic posts in the center of the rivets through and into the car (getting them out involves taking apart most of the trunk, not worth it).

2. Snap the plastic posts off the back of the new hinge. Line up the rivets of new hinge with the holes in the car, and use a wood block or something to hammer the plastic posts into the rivets. Be careful, they split easily!

3. Re-attach the metal spring and plastic fuel door. Done!
