Need Your Opinion on Smoke Problem 700 1987

A compression check will rule out any rings problems. Do that first. You should clean the pcv hose and oil trap to make sure they are not blocked.

Depending on the turbo failure, you may have sucked alot of oil into the intercooler and intake manifold. It maybe that you are buring up that old oil, unlikely though. Any good shop would have degreased the intercooler.

You do have the right amount of oil in there?
