I am trying to unloas the'84 Olds Custom Cruiser wagon (look for it on eBay soon!) and have to think about my silver '84 244GL from the junkyard that you saw.

It is running so nice now, except for the harsh 1-2 upshift. And it needs a little rust repair and seat foam.

I have visions of pulling it in for the winter to restore it as a hobby, but ski patrolling will consume my time this season because I am trying to reach Senior level in both emergency care and rescue. Plus I am on a new safety committee. I would love to pull the engine and transmission, fix the 1-2 shifting and paint the entire car.

Will probably end up seeing this new car go to my wife (she already has claimed it!) and I will drive the white '86 244DL (now with 200K miles!) The '86 needs some paint attention before winter. Small rust spots in the door seams and nicks here and there.
