Master Cylinder 140-160

A 164 master cyl will not bolt up to a 140 brake booster. At least not without some modification. I ran into that recently when my 164 master failed....and I could not use one from a 140. Not sure about a 240...but I would guess it ain't gonna bolt up.

That said, however, I would say it is somewhat likely (though not certain) that you could swap everything from the brake pedal through the master from a 164. I would expect you'll need the brake pedal rod, the booster itself, and the master. The 164 has a bigger booster, and stronger, though squishier brakes. 164 boosters ain't gonna be that easy to find though...

Also, I think the later 140 series might have bigger boosters too....again, not sure.
