FI and turbo questions,crank sensor /hall effect /fuel leaks causing no start?HELP!!!!!! 700 1987

OK kids this is another plee for clues on my 3 day no-start siuation...
car:1987 745 turbo (B230FT just over hauled) and installed.
Questions:
1. what role does the crank sensor at the fly wheel play? Remember this is a turbo engine..does it complete the ground loop?? in there but seems to not go beyond the terminal attached to the valve cover??
2. How do i TEST the hall effect sensor, 2nd one installed (are two bad?) this is where i feel to be chasing my tail!
3.And would a fuel leak at the tank feed line to the secong pump cause a shut down of the pumps.
to summerize the dellema for those who have not been following my FUN so far:
-I have fuel to rail
-I have 12vdc at injectors
-I have no spark
-i do have 12vdc to both sides of coil
-i have both pumps activated with jumper
-all grounds are good
-FI relay is good/ had one fish eye I re-soldered it
-good fresh batt and a back up so ample amps
-radio suppresor seems good
-balast is good
-Plugs are bone dry no gasoline on them and no spark
......SO IF YOU HEAR A FUNNY SOUND COMMING FROM MICH IT IS ME BEATING MY HEAD IN CAR!
!thank in advance!
Dave in michigan (first one who guess the prob gets a beer!!!)
