which fuel pumps to buy? 200

I have a 83 242 Turbo and would like to replace both the main and intank fuel pumps. I've heard it best to buy a late model unit.. but not quite sure what they mean by late model... 740T? The car is CIS and I know that CIS runs almost twice the fuel pressure of EFI.. but id think the same amount of fuel... but I dunno enlighten me. Also, how hard is fuel pump replacement? I have a bently, but I have never done a fuel pump before, any tip/ tricks/ stuff to buy when i do it? TIA
