Testing speedometer sensor with ohm meter 700

What is a scruve? Do you mean the wire plug? This problem is really driving me crazy. I got the feeling that I am going to get an (apparently) good sensor from the junkyard and it still won't work. I am tempted to just pull off the diff cover and give it a good look, change the gasket and the prop seal (which is leaking)
And make sure everything looks ok. By the way I was getting this burned wire smell in the cockpit and couldn't figure it out. It turned out to be a plastic bag that got stuck to my front muffler and was melting!!!!!(the best possible scenario) Got to rehang those mufflers!!!!!!!
