Problem solved, got Boost :) 700

Thanks to Jonn Sargent and bagle,

the culprit for te lost boost was the linkage on the wastegate. There are two bolts that holt the linkage to the turbo housing. One was one, the other had backed halfway out. Replaced the lost bolt, tightened the loose one, everything is back to wonderful.

I had been working it through in my head last night, and I had theorized it couldn't be the cat becaue it happened too fast. The cat plugging up should be gradual. So I was hoping to find a linkage or hose problem today.

Thanks again for the good pointers.
