Car will not start or run. It left me stranded 700 1992

It could have something to do with the fuel smell. Did you go through a lot of gas recently (like more than normal?)

It's possible that the system is sucking air somewhere. The fuel filter might be a good place to look.

Might sound dumb but did you pull the distributor cap off and check everything out? Check the wires including the coil wire and the wires to the coil pack (... a 92 is probably Regina, or is it a Turbo?)

If it's a turbo, check airflow meter connections. Check intake air hoses.

Of course fuel pressure should be checked. very easy with Regina as the port is right on top. Also check wires to MAP sensor and vacuum line also. What codes is the car setting If any?

And of course, make sure the crank sensor wire isn't split open and grounding on the rear of the engine somewhere when you turn corners or slow down. It wouldn't be the first time that has happened.
