Cleaning Air Intake manifold (plenum) 700 1989

With the throttle body off now, I can seel wet oil coating the insides of the intake manifold. I want to know if it is O.K. to spray it down with carb cleaner.

This is not an area I expect fuel system cleaner (BG-4K) to clean up once I run that through, so, I figure I'll need to do it myself.

Would prefer not to remove the manifold. It doesn't looks coaked, just wet oil.
