Replace sunroof headliner on 88 740 GLE 700 1988

I believe that the Haynes Manual has a good explanation of how to disassemble the sunroof. I just replaced my headliner and the headliner on the sunroof a couple of months ago. As I remember, after releasing the spring loaded clips in the back, you then close the sunroof and slide the headliner portion back with your hands. There are two metal clips in the front of the headliner that attach it to the sunroof. The headliner will release from these two clips when you push it back. It releases fairly easily. See the Haynes Manual for detials.
