Front rotors thickness 200 1986

What is the minimum thickness for the front brake rotors on a 240 1986 for the vented and non vented types. I can buy a new vented brembo rotor where it is stamped 20.4 mm as minimum thickness on the outer edge but the rotor when new does not seem to be much thicker than that.

Is there a thing such as a maximum thickness or minimum thickness when new?

Also the original volvo rotor seems to have twice as many cooling fins on the outer edge sandwiched between the two solid faces than there are nearer the center. This feature is not present on the Brembo so that it looks as if the bremmbo has fewer but bigger air openings. Which one is best?
