95 940 trunk popper?

I am new to the 900 series and really need to get a good manual as the 740/760 manula just doesn't cut it anymore for this model. Any suggestions to a manual?

Anyway, I was installing a CD changer (I got the Alpine 6 disk that connects to the factory stereo-thanks for the suggestions, got it at crutchfield for under 200!!) and noticed some funky electronics/motors around the trunk handle underneath the carpeting. It looks like there is more than the usual door lock actuator. What is all gadgetry?
