Where is the distributor on the B234F engine? I know on the B230F or B230FT in the 700 cars the distributor is driven off the back of the camshaft, and that WILL NOT fit in the 240 engine bay without either switching to the 240-type distributor or doing some heavy modifications to the firewall and things therin.
