Rear Defroster - Heated Mirror Problem - Is there a relay? 900 1993

Hi,

I have a 1993 940. The rear defroster seems to take 5-10 minutes before you see any signs of defrosting at all. The left side heated mirror, takes just about as long, or may not work at all. The passenger side heated mirror works almost instantly, you can see the steam burn right off it.

Sometimes if I turn the defroster switch back off then on again, the drivers side heated mirror starts to work. But it doesn't always defrost very fast. Sometimes once it works, it works good. Turning the switch back off and on a couple times doesn't seem to jump start the rear defroster.

The fuse looks good. Is there a relay controling these elements? Or, could a bad defroster on/off switch cause this problem?

Thank you.
