Any Engine Bay Wiring Besides Fuel Pump Fuse To Use For Kill Switch? 200 1990

The fuel pump fuse (bolted on rim of engine bay about 1' aft of the battery) is 25 Amp. The wiring for this looks to be about a 8 gauge (based on what the AutoZone guy told me). I need to thread 2 wires thru the wiring harness bundle closest to the wiper motor (in front of the glovebox). I don't think 2 8 gauge wires can do it. It was pretty darn tight feeding a coat hanger thru the firewall via that harness!
Are there any other wires, of higher gauge(smaller diameter), that if I connect a switch to will prevent the car from starting?
TIA
Matt
