Mabel Jean has blown her engine 444-544 1964

You know, intuitively I know I can find parts (the whole b18=b20 thing). I even know that if she's all gouged up when I get the head off, that I can have her bored out to a b20..... but you'd think I was asking people to walk on water in this town! Everyone says eeeeekk!!!! I rebuilt mine and it was a massive pain in the butt to get everything and blah blah blah.

I guess I should have found these boards first, before I got so discouraged. And I should have reminded myself that, hey, if I've fixed my own exhaust system in a nightclub parking lot while wearing a miniskirt and heels (my old 144e), I can probably rebuild my engine in my garage!

Be looking for my HELP posts in the future.
