First and second are now real hard to get into. What's wrong? 200 1990

Monday morning as I get in the car to go to work I can't get the shifter to go into first. I try second and that doesn't work either. Third, forth anf fifth all work fine.

I figure out that I have to through the shift lever around a bit (back and forth in neutral) to get engaged. Same for second, when I shift I have to shake hard back and forth in neutral and then it goes right in.

What up with this?
