Thanks-I don't know exactly when the seat belt change was made-it is different than my '89--it would not work in my '89 and I knew that when I bought it. Just did not know exactly what year it was for. I am thinking about using the belt itself-not the "spade" or hardware- to replace one in my '89 by cutting it at the spade--(or do you call that the "bayonet"?)- and having a leather repair shop restiching the new replacement belt where it goes through the spade. $3 for the belt--$10-$15 for the stitch job--I think I come out OK on this one. Taking out the old belt hardware-, cutting it-etc-- and replacing it with the new one--is no biggie. Prob have to "rewind" it.
