What's with this hum? 200 1990

I recently replaced the passenger side ball joint, and now I hear a hum (more like a ghost howl) fom the car. I have it in the right way, all the scres/bolts are good-n-tight. Any ideas? should it make it noise while it's 'breaking-in'?
