pilot bearing 1985 740 gle m46 manual transmission 700 1985

Bricksters,
I ordered a pilot bearing from thepartsbin.com.
They sent me what is called a "Generator Bearing".
Does anyone know if these are the one and the same?
Their web page under Pilot bearing shows 2 items one a pilot bearing and one a generator bearing. I caleed them and they assured me they were the same.

I spoke to a volvo dealer's parts dept. and they never heard of a "Generator Bearing". I'm trying to avoid having my baby opened up and then finding out that some parts Bozo has screwed me and that the Generator Bearing is not the Pilot bearing.

Does anyone know the outside and inside diameters of that particular yr's pilor bearing so I can measure it prior to bring to shop?

Generator Bearing's measurements follow (inside 15mm or 9/16th in)
(outside 35mm or 1 & 7/16th in )

thanks again

Mark
