New problem stalled / Check engine 200 1989

I thought I fixed the problem by cleaning the fuse under the hood, but I was driving and the car stalled out on the freeway, lost power completly. Wouldnt restart for a few mins. then started and lost power once more. I waited then it started up and drove away??????? It hasnt done this againe but the check engine light flashes on every once and a wile and does not idel good when it is in park after you first start it. you have to keep a bit of gass then put it in drive and it will idel on its own.

Last year I replaced the air mass meter, O2 twice, I dont know what could be doing this. Please if you have any sugestions.

Also, I lost my air compressor this summer and bypassed it with a bigger belt, but the problem is it tore up that rubber plug on the timing belt cover, is it safe to have that open hole?
