Mysterious Brake Light Problems Part 2 700 1991

OK I switched the panels (the things that have all of the bulbs in them) drivers side to passenger side, etc.

THE BRAKE LIGHTS WORKED! but nothing else did. And it doesnt matter because they wouldnt fit in the housing anyways. Does this sound familiar to you guys?

BTW....here is my original post-
"I have recently purchased a '91 740 & the only thing wrong is my brake lights don't work.

Now for the mysterious part. My tail lights, reverse lights, turn signals all work AND EVEN my middle brake light work, but my tail-brake lights dont. The bulbs are good, the connections look fine, the fuse is fine, & I even made sure all of the relays behind the fuse tray are seated properly. ????

My bulb out light on the dashboard is on & flashes when my turn signals are active, & the other day (after re-seating the relays) it only came on when the headlights were on. ????

I have done a search here & checked what I could. Although I havent been able to find the thing (cylinder thingie) above the break pedal, & I am not sure which relay is for the break lights...

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance!
-Collin"

Thnaks once again!!!
